Flying Home (Jonathan Eisenzopf, U.S.A.) 2:01

Track 11

Luck + Death: home page — Amazon — Kobo

Flying Home is one of the few tracks on the soundtrack that doesn’t have a counterpart in the book. Instead, it fills in a gap.

When Gat returns from Mexico, it isn’t really necessary to show him flying back. Nonetheless, this beautiful cello requiem by Jonathan Eisenzopf seemed to me to be perfect to illustrate that scene, even though we don’t see it in the novel.
