UIFs + the Felon (John Pazdan, U.S.A.) 2:36
I love the way that the fast, percussive element is combined with slow, melancholy strings.
This track represents a scene of frenetic action in the book, and the dual quality of the music, simultaneously fast and slow, captures the way we sometimes subjectively experience adrenaline-filled events with an altered perception of time—things move very quickly and, at the same time, seem to take forever.
